A workshop for elementary/middle school classroom, special education, and
Title I staff, as well as principals and special programs administrators.
It is recommended that participants have attended a full S.M.A.R.T.
workshop or have experience in a S.M.A.R.T. school.
Fairmont's Reading Acceleration Program (FRAP) workshop demonstrates how to
assess and accelerate students’ reading achievement. Participants will learn
how the brain learns to read, how to respond to specific areas of weakness,
and how to match intervention to learner characteristics. Information
presented will assist participants in developing a useable Response to
Intervention model. FRAP is a powerful extension of the S.M.A.R.T. Program
and this workshop provides hands on activities, time for team planning, and
a wealth of resources to facilitate intervention. This FRAP workshop is 18
contact hours.

LOCATION: All Workshops are held at A Chance To Grow in Minneapolis unless noted as "On Location." Space is limited and participation is confirmed in order of receipt of registration and payment.
CEU's and Graduate Credits are offered for MLRC Workshops, for which information will be sent in confirmation packet.
