They GOT S.M.A.R.T. and ACCELERATED STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
When 811 kindergarteners across six states were measured on nationally normed tests, S.M.A.R.T. students scored higher in Beginning Reading and Story Comprehension. Ninety percent of S.M.A.R.T. students scored in the top half, where only 50% would be expected.
In a fall pre-test, fewer then 37% of S.M.A.R.T. first-graders tested were scoring above the 25 th percentile on word recognition. Ninety three percent scored in this normal range in May post-testing.
