Senator Stumpf is S.M.A.R.T. in Plummer
Dear Readers, We had a terrific turnout of S.M.A.R.T. principals, teachers and community leaders for a luncheon with Senator Leroy Stumpf, Chair of the E-12 Education Budget Division , this past week in his home town of Plummer, MN. The gathering was co-hosted by Red Lake County Central Elementary School Principal, Randy Pederson, and the MLRC and provided a forum for area S.M.A.R.T. principals and others to share with Senator Stumpf ways in which individual students and entire classrooms have benefited from the program in their schools. We want to thank Senator Stumpf for joining us for this special S.M.A.R.T. day and for serving as a champion for Minnesota's children and the work of the MLRC specifically over the past years. We are fortunate to have his support and leadership. Thank you also, to all of YOU, for your investment in S.M.A.R.T. and in getting all kids ready to learn. Have a wonderful holiday and may you and the children you so care about find much happiness and growth in the new year! Nancy |
